Unregistered user You've given the news script a heart attack! It keeps throwing up errors! Never post such important news as that ever again! You know it can't handle it!!

Unregistered user Urmmm, whats your problem?
What have you got against Mark and I?

Anyway you won't get it before me unless you preordered it before the Bracknell show last year. so Ha!

The only people who will get it before me are those who put a deposit down at the Wakefield show. Andrew Weston was one such person I beleive.

Oh and btw my name is spelt Jonathan Atherton, notice the one N and the A in Jonathan. the same as in the various postings I have made.

Unregistered user No Jonathan, I got the discount voucher at Wakefield 2000 not the deposit at last years. Jan says it'll be valid though.

Unregistered user I really like the idea of the coastline and things approaching from it. I wondered if there'd be anything like this on seeing a picture of C&C in a PC games mag.

Unregistered user System requirements: You need at least an ARM7 / ARM7500. For higher resolutions than 640x480, a SA RiscPC is recommended. It also runs fine on the Kinetic (very fast). For the 1024x768 resolution you need 2 MB VRAM. Further the game comes on CD, so you need a CD drive. Recommended RAM is 16 MB, although 8MB should also work.

Unregistered user Oh, I forgot, it also runs on an ARM610 (the first RiscPC), but possibly a little bit slow.

Unregistered user Whoa! I like the airfield scene.

Will the game run at 800 by 600 on the 64Mhz Arm7500 FPE RiscStation portable, for network games with a SA Risc PC?

Is fog of war on in all missions or only some?

Also do you have any plans for mission/add-on packs after the game is released. :) Can you say when you may have the level editor available by?

Anyway, the game looks great and I am totally looking forward to it!

Cheers,

Mike

Unregistered user From memory, although their plans may have changed:

AW:Networking may be added later.

Also do you have any plans for mission/add-on packs after the game is released. :)

AW:Yes.

Unregistered user It suggests on the Artex website that multiplayer modes are already built in - so I presume network play is there already?

Rich Goodwin Message #87240, posted at 18:08, 1/3/2002, in reply to message #87239
Unregistered user The fog of war was deliberately switched off for the airfield scene, I don't think this is standard but who knows, maybe it's one of the options.

Unregistered user I've got a question: Is there a smoother fog of war setting for SA machines? The blocks seem a bit ugly in the screen shots.

Michael Drake Message #87242, posted at 22:05, 1/3/2002, in reply to message #87241
Unregistered user The fog of war may look nicer when you see it moving as the units drive about etc.

Cheers,

Mike

Unregistered user Will the game run at 800 by 600 on the 64Mhz Arm7500 FPE RiscStation portable, for network games with a SA Risc PC?

JK: It should run at 800x600, however on this computer it might be better to use 640x480.
Network play is already built in partially but will only be activated in a later (free, downloadable) version.

Is fog of war on in all missions or only some?

JK: Right now it is on in all missions.

Also do you have any plans for mission/add-on packs after the game is released. :) Can you say when you may have the level editor available by?

JK: More levels are planned and will be released if TEK is successful. We're also planning to release the level editor, but there's no release date yet.

Hope that helps :)
